“It’s always so magical to experience the transformation of a construction project to a beautiful and warm home to entertain in,” says Becky Gray, a listing broker and Senior Eastside Global Advisor for Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty. “We were delighted to host this special open house preview event for the neighborhood.”

Many nearby residents explored their opportunity to move up from adjacent properties and others renting in the neighborhood are seriously considering making Vista View Estates their permanent home. One family moved to Redmond from Seattle with their young daughter and have tested several neighborhoods by renting and had very positive feelings about the Mondavio community and were equally impressed by the most recent release of new homes at Vista View Estates.

Listing Broker Jodi Long and Dean Jones, President & CEO of Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty compared notes in the kitchen as they remarked on the view.

“How many layers of landscape do you see in that view,” questioned Jones.  “Let’s see if we have the same answer.”

The duo independently began counting the property fence, the first stand of trees, the Sammamish River, the trail, the row of Poplars, the pasture, the golf course, the ridgeline, the sky and the clouds. About ten layers, they agreed.

“But look at that, it’s changing,” proclaims Long. “This is like a theatre!  I could watch this all day.”

As the setting sun broke through a band of clouds, additional layers of trees and pastures appeared in the distance beautifully back lit.

Overlooking the Sammamish Valley below, Oscar Del Moro, Executive President of Cosmos Development, shared his inspiration for Mondavio in Redmond, which recalls a similar perch in the town of Mondavio in Italy.

“I think it’s one of the most beautiful valleys in Italy and I feel the same way about our outlook here in Redmond,” says Del Moro. “There’s only one parcel of land like this on the Eastside and we’re honored to be the company developing it. Vista View Estates is a never before, never again opportunity.”

“When I think of Italy, I picture picturesque landscapes, enduring architecture, fertile valleys and lots of socializing around fine wine and cuisine,” remarks Bill Cahill, the Community Sales Manager for Vista View Estates. “I think the same thing here at Mondavio. We are so fortunate to be perched above this countryside and just moments away from Washington’s burgeoning wine region. I love that it feels miles away from the city but is actually very close to home. Vista View Estates is a whole new perspective on refined Redmond living.”
